Well, I turned 16 on the the fourth of August. Happy Birthday, Me!  O.o  We went to Disney land over the weekend to celebrate, but boy was it hot!  Indiana Jones broke down while we were on it, so we got to go again without waiting. :D And I had a lobster for lunch. ^_________^ It was so yummy!  In fact, we all ate so much that weekend we musta gained 20 pounds. @_@ Well, we probably walked/sweated even more than that off though.  But what really surprised me was that in the "World of Disney" store, which is ginormous, there wasn't any Kingdom Hearts merchandise. >.< Stoopid Disney.  The fireworks show was absolutely amazing though, and 100 foot flames shot out of the castle during it, and the whole park lit up like it was daytime. *_* It was really awesome.  The Phantasma show was pretty cool too. ^_^ And I accidentally went on my first real roller coaster (I'm not supposed to because I have a heart condition).  My boyfriend Oby said the Matterhorn was really slow, so I got on, but it was more intense than I should ride. It was a fun trip though! :D

As for presents: Princess Ai, Tsubasa RC, Peacemaker Kurogane, Alichino, and Wish manga, a Chobits complete DVD set, Deleter CG Illust (YES! NO MORE PHOTOSHOP!), LeeAnne Rhimes CD (I hate her, and I butchered her name. so there :P ),Wayne's World 1&2 :D, a $100 Ebay Gift Certificate, and a Godiva Truffle box.  My mom says she also ordered me an FF7 doujinshi, but it hasn't arrived yet. Nyu, I wonder which one I got? O.O  I hope it's Liberal Education! *crosses fingers* It looks so awesome!!! :D :D :D :D :D :glomp:

Current Projects:
Original Character CG (no name for her yet)
Cid and an original character for :iconamani-ishikawa:
Tseng and Rufus for Chocolate at ACF
Rufus leaning on a window for Rei2Rei at ACF

And I think I'm getting another one soon.... but my ACF messages are down so I can't be sure. X.x

I'm baaaack! (87 message center items! x.x)  Actually, I was back Sunday, but I've been too exhausted to really do much at DA... Lazy me.  So here's my novel about my 4 day extravaganza!   Oh yes, and pictures of Dear Friends and our Reno and Aeris cosplay are in my scraps, so go check them out!

On Thursday, me, my mom, and Oby my boyfriend all went down to San diego.  We ran around Old Town first before heading to our two bedroom suite.  After an issue regarding the air conditioner, we all get ready for the Dear Friends concert.  I wore a blue evening gown, and Oby wore his suit.  When we got down to the concert, we didn't have much time, so we grabbed some food, two Dear Friends T-shirts, and ran over to our absolutely awesome seats (row 11, seats 6, 7, and 8) while spying some Yuna and Edea cosplayers.  There were some people dressed up as Batman and the like, because most of the people there had walked over from Comic-con. ^_^  It was fun listening to the symphony tune their instruments, because every so often I got to hear little bits n pieces of OWA.  The view was lovely, because we were super close to the stage, and on the left was the ocean, and on the right was a harbor and downtown San Diego all lit up.  Eventually, the conducter and MC come out and they play a little message from Nobuo Uematsu. (He's so cool *_*)  The concert began with Liberi Fatali, and it rocked! ^_^  Unfortunately the screens started failing about Midway through the first half of the concert. >.<  One of them was fine though, and right before the intermission they played the video with Squall and Rinoa, and as the fireworks came in the video, they started firing real fireworks to the left over the water.  It was so beautiful!!!  The intermission came, and I talked to this old French/Russian/Italian/Spanish dude who was an opera singer, and then we ran back to our seats.  They played Aeris' theme, and it was so beautiful! ;_;  It was sad too, though.  When they started playing the Final Fantasy 1-3 songs, a really noisy chopper flew overhead, and everybody whined.  So Arnie Roth, the conductor, strted it over for us! :D  Everybody cheered about that!  We eventually got to the new Advent Children son, which was called "Cloud Smiles."  It was kind calm and happy, and I though about Cloud actually being happy and smiling in AC and that gave me warm happy feelings. n_n  I feel so bad for Cloud. ;_;  They got to the "last" song, which is the one they play after you beat a Final Fantasy game.  I kept thinking "Yay I won!" XD  Then, Arnie Roth, walked off stage and everyone gave him a standing ovation.   The choir walked in, we cheered more, and Arnie Roth said "It's like you guys already know what's coming!"  Of course everyone did. ^_^  And then they started One Winged Angel.  It was simply awesome.  I looked around, and almost everyone was grinning ear to ear, including me.  As it finished, there was another standing ovation as the conductor walked off stage, but then he turned around and asked if we'd like to hear it again.  Well, that was obvious by all the screaming. ^^  The second time it seemed even more powerful, and after it was all said and done, I literally squeed.  Yes, I screamed "Squeeeee!"  ^^; It seemed fitting. XD  I didn't want to leave, but we had to get to bed for the next day's events.

The next morning, we all got up and Oby and I crawled into our cosplay outfits, and my mom did our hair.  Suddenly, we were now Aeris and Reno. ^_^  After breakfast, we caught a cab down to Comic-con, and as soon as we walked in, this little boy ran up to Oby screaming "Reno!" and gave him a hug, while some little girls (one dressed like Tifa) started taking my picture.  In fact, I think we got our picture taken at least 60 times that day. :D  Once we got our tickets, we hit the exhibit hall.  Eventually, we came to the Squeenix booth.  They were playing three trailers: Dragon Quest 8, Kingdom Hearts (it was the original game, not the sequel which made no sense since it's been out for years), and Advent Children.  When DQ8 was playing, about three people would watch.  when KH played, ten people would watch.  And everytime AC played, at least 30 people would be crowded together trying to see. XD  I watched the AC trailer seven times, and it was simply kickass!  I had never seen it before (it was the E3 one) because my connection was so slow, and on the widescreen they had it on, it just was totally awesome!  I loved it.  I also picked up a pamphlet on the new figures (most are only $20) but it was horribly translated.  In fact, all the signs Squeenix had up had mistakes in them. ^^;  I bought an Advent Children cell phone strap before hitting the rest of the convention.  At the Disney section, there was a playable version of KH2, but there was a crowd, so I just watched Sora and Auron for a little while before moving on.  I bought some more stuff, including a little Cloud figure, and got loads of free crap.  I also ran into the producer of Dear Friends and More Friends.  He was pretty nice, and said he hoped to do another tour.  I spotted another Aeris and Reno and got their pictures, and later we ran into Tifa and Cid walking together. ^_^  We tried to find out about the masquerade, and though we couldn't participate, we convinced my mom to letting us stay another two nights so we could go.  We also ran into someone who was planning to be Rude at the masquerade, but he never showed.  By then my feet were killing me, so we headed back to the room.  The next day, we all got up late, and when I was trying to change into my Aeris costume, I got locked into me and my mom's room. X.X  So Oby had to take the doorknob off of the door so I could get out. ^^;  We put it back on, of course.  Then we headed to Comic-con again, got more stuff, more pictures, and I got a plushie for getting my picture taken. ^^  At seven we went to the Gaslamp area for dinner (it was crappy and overpriced) and the three of us headed back for the masquerade.  There were some funny skits, like an agry cuttlefish, Shirley Temple being chased by a fish, Street Fighter character's killing Goku, a really fat and old Wonderwoman, and a cute dance with Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha.  During the intermission, Oby and I went to the dance floor and started dancing.  Then some little man walked up and asked to dance with me, and as soon as he started, he tried to do a trick and fell down and hurt his leg really bad. O.O  Then I saw Don Corneo, which was funny.  The rest of the night we danced, up until 1:30 AM, and some photographer took our picture..... for a gay magazine. >.<  Well, I guess that's not too bad, but it was kind of weird.  As we wlked out, some people started screaming "Aeris! Where's Cloud?!" at me. XP  I tld them he died.  At about 2:30 Am, my mom, Oby, and I finally managed to get an available taxi and we went back to the room.  By the time were done showering and getting the color out of our hair, it was 4 AM. x.x  The next day, we visited the Midway aircraft carrier museum (I've been on one that's in service though XP) and we headed home.  Well, a fun time was had all!

Run over to scraps and look at pictures!

Dear Friends and Comic-con are less than a week away!!!  I'm so excited! *jumps around*  Me and my boyfriends cosplay outfits (Aeris and Reno) are almost complete.  Not that we made them.. ;_; I feel guilty about that, but our sewing machine is lost somewhere in the garage and mi madre doesn't want to buy a new one.  Not that I would have had time to actually sew, with heart surgery and finals and everything.  Does that make me a bad cosplayer? ;_;  Well, I'll probably make my own outfits next year if I do this again.

But I've bought the pink dress (a little innacurate, but the best I could do), red bolero jacket (I need to modify it a bit), boots (really cute!), and spray on brown hair color (I'd get a wig, but my hair is too long) for the Aeris outfit, but I still need bangles and a black ribbon and pink bow.  For the Reno costume I got a navy suit (looks like black though), white shirt, and my boyfriend has boots, but we still need to get him red hair color and gel.  I would have everything, but the stupid surgery put me out of commision for to long. >.<  I'll have to do some rushed shopping this week.  There's also the possibility that my boyfriends parents will suddenly not let him go (even though my family has already bought tickets and hotel rooms) since they've done that kind of thing before.

To the Dear Friends concert I'm going to wear a beautiful sleek blue evening gown I picked up at a going-out-of-business-sale for half off.  And since it's an outdoors concert, there are going to be fireworks at the end.  To bad they won't be playing "Interrupted by Fireworks"!  That would be very nice. ^_^  I've saved up quite a bit of money for Comic-con, and I'm preparing to splurge (but I tend to somehow never spend more than $40, I'm cheap).

On the artwork:  I'm open to request, art trades, and commissions right now, so send me a note if you want anything.

Also, I have a question, do you think I should get a prints account or no.... I can't decide... *smacks head* ^^;  Feedback on that would be very appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Current projects:  Request for Rennard at ACF of Cid Highwind (haven't started), and a painting of my original character (underdrawing finished).

I am sooo retarded. :3  A few days ago, my mom, her friend and I decided to go to the midnight showing of the Land of the Dead movie.  We decided to make a night of it, so at eight we watched the Day of the Dead at home, and then put on Zombie makeup and did our hair weird.  We drove to the theater and walked up to the box office while dragging our feet, moaning, and generally looking like nutcases, and my mom asked in a zombie voice for tickets to the movie.  The box office people looked at us reeeaally strange before kindly informing us that there was no midnight showing of any movie that night.  O.o  Needless to say we harrassed my mom about it all night for getting the date wrond. ;P It was still alot of fun though, so we went to Denny's in our costumes late at night and got desserts and a crapload of funny looks. XD  It was a lot of fun though.

I did see Batman Begins though, and I though it was the best Batman movie so far.  The guy who played the Scarecrow/Crane just seemed to scream Fuhito.  He looked exactly how I thought Fuhito might look (and act), which was pretty funny. :)  I hope BC comes out soon so I can do more than read about him though... even if he is a creep.

Oh, and due to th fact that we're having trouble piecing together a Rufus costume, my boyfriend will now be cosplaying as Reno-sama at Comic-con. (Before Crisis version, since we don't have the time or money to get him a bright red mullet wig)  I'm still going as Aeris though. :)  And even though I'd prefer him to be Rufus, Reno is still a smexy guy. :D

First of all, I'd like to thank you people for your prayers and concerns about my heart surgery.  You are much appreciated.

Anyways, I had heart surgery on Monday because I have a condition called Super Ventricular Tachycardia (SVT), which you can think of as a fast/irregular heartbeat that comes on suddenly and can lead to passing out and (rarely) death, along with a slew of other side effects.  I had had a very similar surgery twice before(the first time they said I was cured but I wasn't, and the second time I was told I couldn't be cured), and it was my eighth surgery total.

I had to get up at 4 AM to go down to the hospital and check in at 6:30.  NOT FUN!  I tried to sleep on the way down there, but I was so scared that I couldn't.  I got to see the sunrise, but I could've appreciated it more if I hadn't been so worried.  Once we got to the hospital and went in, my boyfriend, Oby, did his best to keep me calm, but I couldn't shake how scared I was.  My pre-op nurse was really nice to me though, and she put little happy faces on my feet.  After all the tests were done, they walked me in to the Cath lab.  My dad and Oby left, but my mom stayed with me while they put me under.  I chose strawberry flavored gas, not the IV.  The anasthesiologist put the mask on me and told me to hold my breath, but I was distracted and didn't pay attention to him though. :P  Getting put under is the weirdest feeling.  Everything gets really loud and buzzes, and your vision gets messed up and then BAM! you're out.

When I woke up, I had a headache, was shaky, in pain, and generally felt like crap.  Not only did the incision in my neck and the four in my legs hurt, but my elbows and ankles were extremely sore because of the weird position they put me in for the surgery.  My post-op nurse, Amy, was very sweet and and cleaned my face up a bit and tried to cheer me up, but then her shift got out and I got another nurse.  My cardiologist came in and told me that he didn't know if I was cured or not.  Eventually I was moved to the recovery room, where I developed a fever of 102.1, shook uncontrollably, lost my vision temporarily, almost passed out, and became intensely nauscious.  And on top of that, Oby started throwing himself a pity party.  Apparently, most of my symptoms were a result of the repeated alternating use of sedatives, then adrenaline, then more sedatives, etc.  X.X  The doctor kept on switching back and forth between keeping me the night and letting me go home, but eventually he decided it would be an outpatient surgery.  I went to the hotel room my family had rented nearby, ate some cheesecake and crashed.

The next morning, I had a killer headache, nausea, pain, and general feeling like crap.  My mom took off my pressure bandages and my holter monitor, and we all drove home.  I thought I was about to puke during the entire drive, and when I finally made it home I painfully shuffled to my bed with my mom and Oby's help and took a very needed nap.  When I woke up, I managed to shuffle to the living room with some help, and for the rest of the evening I sat/lay on the loveseat.

Two days after my surgery, I still had a headache, but I was feeling a little better.  I managed to painstakingly take a shower (with my mom's help), and mostly sat on the loveseat but occasionally I went to bed to rest.  Late that night, however, the areas where I had had bandages developed hives and itched like crazy.

On Thursday morning, I was feeling much better.  I could walk almost normally, but I had a funny looking limp.  I still was having an allergic reaction to the tape, and towards the evening I started to feel bad again.

Today, I was feeling better, but I had a heart problem so I took a nap.  Later, I went and saw Bewitched (cute! :) ) and took a short walk on the beach with my mom and Oby.  I think I over did it though, because my incisions are really sore now. :(

If you managed to read all that, then I am very proud of you! :D

But I do have something happy to say!!   The Turks are in the Last Order OVA that comes with FF7:AC Special Edition! :D :D :D  Now let's just hope they have Rufus in it too!!!! ^____^

And I'm open for requests, but I'm very slow at drawing right now and still have to finish one for someone.

I just looked and I have over 1000 views!!!!! Thank you!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :glomp:

I am so glad SCHOOL IS OUT!!! :D  This summer I'm going to Dear Friends concert and Comic-con and it will soon be my sweet sixteen birthday!  I already went to SeaWorld this week (my legs still hurt from the walking). :)

The bad side of the summer is that I'm having heart surgery on Monday.  x.x  I went in during March for the same surgery, but the machine broke not too long before they put me under, so it got postponed till summer.  That means no swimming or going to the beach for a while. -_-

Also, I have to decide if I want to take AP or normal U.S History, but AP is taught by a horrid teacher and if I take AP, I have to read seven books over the summer. >.<

We've been having so many earthquakes lately!  I'm scared that they might be foreshocks or whatever, and that a really bad one is on its way. O.O  We've already had tsunami warnings.

Has anyone else seen the shots of the new FF7 OVA?  So far, only two have been released (Zack and Tifa) but they look pretty good.  I just hope I can afford the Super-Duper-Special-Edition version of AC that's gonna come with the OVA.

I hope Rufus is in it. :P

I've had a bad week.  I've been really sick and then my dad had a heart attack.  And I've got exams next week.  And I'm having problems with my BF's family.  *sigh*  I feel like I'm about to keel over.  Forgive me to everyone whom I promised a request/gift art because it will be late.  There's just so much going on it's gonna be a while before I can complete another piece. x.x

I'm absolutely miserable!  I can't stand school.  It's such a waste of time.  I only have two more weeks, but I will be in agony.  And once I do get out, I have heart surgery! ><

Well, at least I can look forward to the Dear Friends concert and cosplaying as Aerith at Comic-con. :)

I'm not looking forward to exams though.  This has been a really rough school year for me, so I'm really sick of tests.

But I will be getting my portfolio back from Art class! That means I'll have some stuff to upload.  And surprisingly enough, it won't be FF7 fanart! *gasp* But I have some more of that which I'm working on independently. :)

I was off the net for one day and I missed a crap load of news!  However, I just checked out Advent Children Forums and found some VERY exciting stuff!  SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

First off, there is a partial remake of FF7 for a PS3 demo.  It's just the opening, but the graphics were definitely improved.  Officially it's just for the demo and there won't be any real remake, but they also said that there would never be an FF7 sequel. Hah!

Speaking of the sequels, some new footage of Advent Children was released in a new trailer and some more was released today at E3.  There's apparently another shot of Sephiroth with him saying something along the lines of "It's been a long time, Cloud," in addition to some new shots of the known characters in the movie.  There's also speculation that Reno is carrying Elena, but that hasn't been confirmed.

The other sequel, Dirge of Cerberus, also has some new information on it.  There are some new screens with Tifa(?), Yuffie, Cid(?) and Barret, along with some soldiers.  I don't think they're currently available online, however.

The prequel, Before Crisis, has been officially stated to be released to the US, although platform and release date aren't specified.  Yeah baby!!!!!

And apparently Crisis Core will have something to with Zack and possibly the Nibelheim incident.

And MortarExplosion at the forums found a picture of what looks to be Rufus-sama in AC!!!   SQUEE!!! :D :D :D

I'm so hyped right now.  I'm even listening to my FF7 piano collection CD.  ^_^  But I'm so happyful!

Advent Children release date has been announced as September 14!!!  WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO      BAAAAAYYBAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Just a few more months before I can see Rufus as a non-lego person!  Argh, I is so excited!  I don't know if I can wait that long though. ^_^;

RUFUS! RUFUS! RUFUS! RUFUS! RUFUS! RUFUS!

*dies*

--------------edit------------------

I was just at Advent Children Forums, and apparently the September 14 date is for the US and Japan.  I don't know if this is officially confirmed but. . .

Anyways, I won't be going with my boyfriend to Comic-con this year. ;_;  He was going to go as Rufus and me as Aeris, but now his parents won't let him go. RAWR!!!  I'm still going as Aeris with my mom and maybe my dad, and the day before I'm going to the Dear Friends Concert!  w00t!

I be so happy!  FF7: Before Crisis is probably coming to the US!  Oh happy day! :)

Really random, but...... does anybody else here post at Advent Children Forums?

*cough*

I had this really weird dream the other night.  It was about..... FF7 (but you know I'm not obsessed).  The Shinra HQ was actually a giant greenhouse with plants and jungle animals (don't ask), and I needed to talk to Rufus for some reason.  I ran into Reno while walking around but he was really mad for some reason.  Actually, everyone was really mad in that dream for some reason.  Except for me.  I was screaming "SQUEE!" in joy every few seconds. :D  Feh, I'm weird.

Oh yes, and I joined an FF7 fanclub: :iconturksfanclub:

But I'm really NOT obsessed! Right? <.<  >.>  Why would you think that?

........
I haven't put anything in my journal for a while, so it's time to ramble!  I've been stuck in a fanart craze for a while now.  Or more specifically an FF7 craze.  I'm about to attack SE for not releasing that movie yet, and also for not having plans to release BC in the US.

ARGGHH!

*ahem*

Sephiroth has been usurped! Rufus has replaced him as my favorite character OF ALL TIME. *collective gasp*

I was going to have heart surgery this week, but the machine broke a few minutes before I was supposed to go under the knife.  Scary stuff.  I'll be having it in June, though.  And next week I go back to school.  Ick.  But I have the Dear Friends concert in San Diego this summer to look forward to!

I'm leaving now.
I got 100 pageviews! w00t!   Thank you people!!!!!!
I got a 4.0! Go me! I'm gettin' sixty bucks for it too. :boogie:  I should be doing homework right now, but I'm too lazy.  What's up with giving homework over Easter weekend anyway?  Especially at a Christian school. O.o

I need to pick up some paper for doing final drafts of my comic soon, but I don't know what size!  Recommendations would make me happy.

I'll do requests, if anyone's interested, by the way.
I added a piccy of a dragon-man, but it seems to take a while to load.  I also deleted a lot of pictures just to clean the place up.
Today I got a poster of Sephiroth-sama from Advent Children!  I am so happy.
Oh, constructive crit would help me out alot, if you've got the time.  I like plain old comments, too. ;)
I made a crap ID. Yay!
I added some fanart and other stuff.  Thank you for the comments again!
Hello! I just joined DA, and still know very little about how this place works (but I'm learning!).  People are really fast at commenting here. ^_^ Thank you to all of you people who commented, you're so nice!  Is there a way to reply to comments like at Elfwood?  Or do you have to leave a comment yourself?  I'll figure it out later.  I love comments and crit. I gotts organize my new shelf now.  Bye people! *runs off*
